Having an effective acne treatment like Proactiv will surely work wonders on your confidence. For years, you have been plagued by acne problems that left you feeling conscious and insecure. But those days are gone. You now have beautiful, healthy-looking and acne-free skin that is the envy of your friends. All these are because of the Proactiv skin care system that is considered to be the leading acne treatment in the market today. The treatment system is composed of 3 solutions including a cleanser, toner and lotion. The system works under a Combination Therapy technique that not only treats your acne but makes sure that you will never have the same problems again. Your skin will glow and look healthier as the visible acne scars fade with continued use of Proactiv. For better results, you should also use the Proactiv Refining Mask.

How the Refining Mask Works

The Proactiv Refining Mask can be a part of your skin care regimen. Since the toner, cleanser and lotion works to treat, heal and protect your skin, the mask helps remove skin impurities that get stuck on the pores. Aside from this, the Proactiv Refining Mask also helps improve skin texture, making it smoother and finer. Many users choose to put on this mask before going to bed to absorb excess oils. After making sure that the mask stays on for 10 minutes, you will now rinse it. While asleep, the effects of the Proactiv Refining Mask works overtime to make sure that you will wake up looking like you came from a facial.

The Main Ingredients

Since the Proactiv Refining Mask contain 6 percent sulfur, you must make sure that you apply per instructions as it may cause excessive dryness when left for longer than 10 minutes. Other ingredients that will benefit your skin include Schoenanthus Extract, tea tree leaf oil and Geranium maculatum extract. These ingredients work to absorb the excess oils that acne-prone individuals usually have. These oils are responsible for attracting bacteria and clogging your pores. Proactiv Refining Mask

People who have acne-prone skin will benefit much from the Proactiv Refining Mask. For best results, use the product three to four times a week. In case your skin becomes dry when using the product based on the recommended usage, you can always choose to use it only once a week. Proactiv also recommends to the users to use the Renewing Cleanser, Deep Cleansing Wash, Revitalizing Toner, Oil free Moisturizer and the Repairing Lotion.

The Proactiv Refining Mask can be purchased conveniently online along with the other products. If you order online, you could also avail of the mask for free. Surely, it is a great way to test the product out. It is also available via home television shopping, in case you do not have internet access. I am a big promoter of Proactive Mask. Have also found that Clearasil Adult Acne Cream has the same active ingredient, sulfur at 8%. Works great as well.

i just got it and it works so great and your skin feels amazingly clean after using it. if it doesn’t work then get something else. I hear clearasil 3 step works if proactiv doesnt.
    I LOVE IT!

I used to use the proactive solution but I found that the only thing that really seemed to work was the mask. For the price of the toner and cleanser it just wasn’t worth it. I am going to try that clearasil adult cream someone reccomended and see if it compares to the mask because just thought the proactive system just doesn’t work like they say.

Proactive felt good at first, but then after a few months my skin is dry and old looking and has scars from the mask.
My skin was better before use.

I have been using the proactive system I never had acne as a young teenager but when I turned 18 I started getting it sometimes horribly bad to the point that I didnt want to leave the house or go to classes or visit even family! I have been using it for about two months give or take. It has improved my skin alot. It didnt take care of it all but it has surely helped alot and i would say worth 20 bucks a month if you could lock the price in as i have but honestly i dont use it as much as it says to or id get better results im sure. in any case it works enough that i dont feel too embarassed to leave the house.

I had mild acne problems. I was lured into buying another equally expensive product (Murad) at Sephora. The Sulfur-based product aggravated my condition. I started getting cystic acne and was left with ugly scars all of last summer. As soon I stopped, the cystic acne went away. Make sure your skin is not allergic/sensitive to Sulfur before you use Sulpfur-based products. My 2 cents…

I use Proactiv 3-step solution right now. But, I don’t use the system per product recommendation as it tends to have long-term drying effects on the skin. This is my regimen - wash and tone once every night (I use a mild cleanser other times), then I alternate between the following two as a follow-up routine - one night with a very mild non-comedogenic moisturizer (e.g. Cetaphyl, Aveeno ageless serum), the other night with a real tiny drop of the lotion. This works. It is gradual. But, doesn’t screw up your skin over the long term. Hope this helps!
